The biggest superyachts listed for sale in 2023
13 January 2023• Written by Brooke Murphy (Thanks )
Al Said | 155m

In 2022, the 155 metre Lürssen joined the market for the first time since her delivery 14 years ago in 2008. She was built for the Sultan of Oman and was the second-largest yacht in the world at the time (she has since slipped down the order to number six). Built under the codename Project Sunflower, she features design by Espen Øino with an interior by Jonathan Quinn Barnett and has been used as a venue for hosting international royalty and world leaders. Accommodation is offered for as many as 65 guests and is complete with epic entertainment facilities in the form of an onboard concert hall with room for a 50-piece orchestra. Al Said is currently listed as POA with Blackorange Yachts.
Kismet | 95.2m

Kismet is easily one of the most recognisable vessels on the water thanks to her champagne and caviar exterior by Espen Øino. Stainless steel grilles and a sharp bowsprit catch the eye and on game days – the owner also owns a major NFL team – a four-metre silver jaguar graces the bow, its paw resting on a football helmet. Reymond Langton handled the interior, which is dripping in bronze, gold, silver and precious stones. Highlights include a grand Art Deco atrium with a curved staircase, a two-storey video wall and a custom piano. She can host up to 270 people. Kismet is asking €169,000,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship.
Dubawi – Length: 90.6m

The 91 metre Dubawi was originally delivered as a cruise ship by Cantieri Navale Ferrari in 1989 before Platinum Yachts transformed her into a private yacht in 2009. As a result of her cruising heritage, the yacht has an internal volume comparable to a yacht of 100 metres or more with space for a nightclub, a beach club, a private owner’s deck and hospital facilities. As many as 22 vibrant cabins can accommodate up to 44 guests waited on by up to 70 crew members. Dubawi is asking $28,000,000 with Worth Avenue Yachts.
Ice | 90m

The 90 metre Ice is one of the newest additions to the brokerage market having been listed for sale in January 2023. Originally known as Air, she was one of the first vessels to be fitted with electrically-powered Azipod propellers, allowing her to venture further and reduce her environmental impact at the same time. Her five decks and 3,268GT offer accommodation for 14 guests and a crew of 27 with design legends Tim Heywood and Terence Disdale behind the exterior and interior. Ice is asking €120,000,000 with Blackorange Yachts.
Phoenix 2 | 90m

Phoenix II
Phoenix 2 feels like the floating version of Jay Gatsby’s mansion with cherry velvet floors and gilded details. The 90 metre Lürssen was completed in 2010 and the owner commissioned Winch Design to conjure up her intricate Art Deco meets the New York skyline design concept. A 5.7-metre phoenix figurehead rises up from the bow like the eagles mounted on the Chrysler building, while her bold interior is an entertainer’s dream with a sommelier room, three pools, plush cinema room and custom Steinway providing musical accompaniment as guests dine. Phoenix II is asking €129,000,000 (EU VAT paid) with Burgess.
Tranquility | 91.5m
Tranquility Credit: Camper & Nicholsons
The 91.5 metre motor yacht Tranquility was the first yacht built to the PYC standard when she was delivered in June 2014 by Oceanco. An interior by Britsh studio Winch Design takes inspiration from Asia with exotic materials like wenge, gold leaf, bamboo and marble featured throughout. Tranquility is commercially approved to sleep 26 guests, making her a desirable charter yacht. Standout features include a swimming pool, two Hodgson tenders, a spa and a master suite with wraparound windows. Tranquilityis asking €149,900,000 with Burgess.
Illusion Plus | 88.5m

Illusion Plus
At 88.5 metres in length, Illusion Plus is the largest yacht ever built in Asia. She left the Pride Mega Yachts shipyard in 2018 and is searching for an owner ready to make the most of her 5,000 nautical-mile range and luxury amenities. A spacious interior, granted by a 15-metre beam, is the work of Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and houses a spa, a lower deck ocean lounge with a bar and an 80-square-metre full-beam master suite. Outside, Illusion Plus boasts two Jacuzzi tubs and a touch-and-go helipad for guests to come and go as they please. Illusion Plus is asking $79,800,000 with Burgess and Fraser.
